Dubai has adequate stock, continuous supply of food

Dubai - Dubai is in touch with several countries and this has allowed it to find alternative markets for sourcing food.

Dubai has taken preventive measures to ensure that there is plenty of food stock, said Omar Bou Shehab, the chairman of Dubai committee for food security.

"Food security means there is a task force working and following indexes and ensuring the continuous safe supply and consumption in a healthy pattern. In addition there is a follow up on prices."

"Dubai has a strong logistics infrastructure and has multiple international destinations globally. These have allowed Dubai to find alternative markets after some countries stopped exporting food.
