Government and private nurseries in Sharjah can resume receiving children from March 28 with strict Covid safety protocols.
The local emergency, crisis and disaster management team in Sharjah, in cooperation with the Sharjah Private Education Authority (SPEA), said multiple inspections have been carried out at the nurseries to ensure they are Covid-safe to receive children.
A detailed guide had been distributed among schools and nurseries about the Covid safety measures that had to be followed. This was followed by safety inspections to ensure compliance.
Sharjah had earlier extended 100 per cent distance learning in all public and private schools and nurseries until the end of spring semester on March 25.
More details to follow.
