Coronavirus: Qatar reports 217 new Covid-19 cases, 225 recoveries

Doha - As many as 5,344 people were tested for Covid-19 over the last 24 hours.

The Qatar health ministry on Friday, reported 217 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 225 recoveries. No death was recorded in the country as a result of the illness.
This takes the total recoveries in the country to 116,538 while the death tally remains at 201.
As many as 5,344 people were tested for Covid-19 over the last 24 hours, taking the total to 650,248.
There are 2,898 active cases in the country, of which 391 are in acute hospital care.
