At a time when the world is grappling with the menace of Covid-19 pandemic, taking precautionary measures can keep you and your dear ones safe from the clutches of the deadly disease.
In line with the government directives on the preventive measures against the spread of coronavirus, the residents of Dubai have been urged to exercise caution while making transactions.
The Dubai Municipality has now encouraged people to use electronic payment methods and avoid using bank notes.

"Banknotes are an easy surface for the spread of viruses, avoid using it as much as possible, instead, use electronic payments, and in the absence of e-payments, replace cash payments with card payments while maintaining preventive measures," the Dubai Municipality said on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
Earlier, the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE) has directed banks to replenish ATMs with new banknotes of all denominations and to ensure the availability of cash during the salary payment cycle this month.
