Coronavirus: Bahrain reports 535 new Covid-19 cases

Dubai - The latest announcement puts the total number of recoveries in the country at 29,099.

The Bahrain health ministry on Tuesday reported 535 new cases of the Covid-19 coronavirus, along with 674 recoveries.

Of the new cases, 297 were among expatriate workers and 238 were contacts of active cases.

As many as 9,203 Covid-19 tests were carried out in the country on July 13, the ministry said.

The latest announcement puts the total number of recoveries in the country at 29,099.

One new death was also reported, taking the total to 109.

There are currently 50 Covid-19 cases in a critical condition, and 72 cases receiving treatment. 4,218 cases are stable out of a total of 4,268 active cases.
