Yoga time
Club Vista Mare is bringing together Dubai's top fitness studios for the third edition of Core Beats, the free-to-attend beach yoga and fitness concert, on September 1. Set on the sandy strip of beach the next Core Beats will feature a hip hop inspired yoga flow followed by a HIIT workout with DJ Robbie from 6pm.
Drift away
As the long days of summer start ebbing into our favourite time of year, Dubai's latest beachfront destination, DRIFT Beach Dubai at the One&Only Royal Mirage, is set to welcome back those looking for a chic hideaway. Try the laid-back Mediterranean lifestyle in Dubai with classical Provençal cuisine.
A supernatural ZG
A new season is about to start at Zero Gravity, which can only mean one thing - the much anticipated return of Supernatural. Supernatural, Zero Gravity's sell out beach day brunch, is returning on Saturday. This brunch never disappoints with an all-inclusive package price of Dhs249 for the girls and Dhs299 for the boys.
Hit for six
The latest round of the ICC Academy Scholarship open trials will be held on Friday and are open to both boys and girls aged 13-18. Trials for players aged 13-15 will be held from 3-5pm and from 5-7pm for 15-18-year-olds. Registration will be open an hour before each age group session starts and a full, one-year scholarship will be awarded to the 12 best players. Have you got what it takes to win?
Believe it!
All things strange and bizarre are coming to WAFI this September. We love a good old curiosity show and if you haven't already guessed from the picture, it's Ripley's Believe It or Not! That's right, the world-famous collection of interesting and weird exhibits will be on show. We like the look of this boxing bit. Enjoy a variety of items of all sizes and a number of interactive elements until November.
Space out
Lessons from outer space are on here! Ibn Battuta Mall is celebrating Back to School season with a Discovery Channel Space Exhibition designed to promote fun learning. Have a look at the 3-D space simulation, a virtual reality capsule, a Mars Rover replica, a miniature space station and a 3-D space photo wall. It's on every day at the China Court.
Daycation days
#FollowTheSun at Palazzo Versace while experiencing a luxurious pool time at the five-star lifestyle property. The #FollowTheSun daycation package was designed for you to relax, unwind and stay sun-kissed, while taking a dip in the conveniently located pools around the hotel where the sun shines throughout the day. Prices start at Dhs300, so get down there and get crispy.
