Actor Ryan Reynolds was promoting his upcoming film Free Guy in Brazil when frenzied fans stormed to greet him and collapsed massive stage barrier.
But the actor displayed his superhero reflexes as he narrowly escaped being crushed under the barrier and hopped back onto the stage.
The incident took place on Saturday when Reynolds, 43, was attending the third day of CCXP in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
Video of the incident shows Reynolds atop the stage waving to the excited audience when he decides to jump down to the ground to greet fans. But as people started pushing against the barriers they gave way to the pressure and many fans fell forward.
Following the incident left Reynolds stunned but assured fans he was alright and jumped down to the ground again to check if people were hurt.
Free Guy is an action-comedy and premieres on July 3, 2020, reported Daily Mail.
