Story
Namaste England is about two lovebirds: Param (Arjun Kapoor) and Jasmeet (Parineeti Chopra) who hail from a tiny village in Punjab. Jasmeet, like every other person from Punjab, is smitten by the grandeur of England. She only has one dream - to go to London. She marries Param, thinking he will be the one to take her away from the suffocating village atmosphere, but sadly, that does not happen.
Fearing her London dream will be shattered, Jasmeet gets married to another man so she can get there easily. Part of her plan is to make arrangements for Param to follow her to England, but before that, Param gets there illegally. Jasmeet and Param's struggle starts from here.
Screenplay
Although in one line, the story of the film sounds quite thrilling but the way it transpires is simply awful. Screenplay is disastrous - a repercussion of catastrophic direction. It is  baffling for the audience who will be unable to decide whether Namaste England is a comedy, thriller or a romantic misadventure.
Dialogues
The dialogues are dreary and will leave you in a fit of pique. Their sheer mismatch with the emotions (if you happen to spot any emotion expect silliness) in the film are nothing but painful to the ears.
Music
The film is filled with foolish songs that are not relevant at all. Who would want to see lame dancing every other minute, anyway! However, that's exactly what you get to see in Namaste England. Ample out-of-place songs which dampen the 'Punjab ki tashan'. Even the choreographers seem to be lost in the doldrums of the movie that they have ended up giving irrelevant, funny and immature dance steps to Arjun and Parineeti.
Action
Action in the movie is nil and so is romance and thrill. The director, however, may have tried his hand at comedy, but he has failed badly. Only Arjun and Parineeti laugh during the supposed comic scenes while the audience whines.
Editing
Editing of the film could have been the last resort. But, surprisingly the editing is weak, and who, but the director is responsible for the catastrophe that is Namaste England. Although, the locations are beautiful as the film has been shot in Punjab and London, the editing is grim. When Vipul Shah knew the film turned out to be awful, he could have saved it through tight editing.
Direction
After the failure of Action Replay and London Dreams, Vipul Shah should have hung up his boots. Instead, he came up with yet another fetish-for-London flick, proving for the third time his faulty direction skills. Namaste England is an extension of bad direction after delivering flops on the same line. Should I say not a single department in the film has been handled well?
Acting
Half-baked, substandard and terrible. None of the actors in the film have done anything on screen that is worth watching. I feel this may be the first film where such bad and confused performances from actors have been delivered. Arjun and Parineeti's chemistry goes for a toss surprisingly after they created magic with their roles in Ishaqzaade. To watch them together even in romantic scenes doesn't make you feel lovey-dovey, instead one can easily break into laughter. This may be a result of their adulation while promoting the film that has proven fatal for their onscreen chemistry!
Verdict
It's a very bad film; sheer torture. Vipul Shah seems to have sleep-walked while making the movie and the product is devoid of entertainment, common sense and fun factor. Audience should keep their money and avoid this film.
