for all the loving couples as well as singles across the country. Tickets are available in two categories, grandstand tickets for Dh300 and VIP tickets for Dh750, which includes dinner and drinks from 8pm to 12am.

"It is going to be a classy affair which will be a once in a lifetime opportunity to hear Whitney sing live," says Jackie Wartanian, managing director, Center Stage Management CSM.

She adds, "Whitney hasn't performed live in concert in the last four years, and she herself wanted to come here. This will be her first and only live performance in the Middle East and I don't think she will come again in the near future. Which is why we have ensured that up to 5,000 people can be accommodated that night." Prior to Dubai she will perform two to three concerts in Russia.

Whitney is said to be performing some of her new songs from her newest album as well as many of her great old songs from her previous albums such as the Bodyguard and Waiting to Exhale. Prior to her latest Christmas album, Ms Houston had released Just Whitney a compilation of romantic songs, which included the hit, Watchu lookin' at? After the concert the DJ will play for guests who want to continue after the show.

Organisers reveal that she will be flying in with her entourage of 30-odd crewmembers and there will be seating arrangements for all the guests at the concert. Tables can be booked for groups of 10.
