MAN HANGS HIMSELF IN GRAVEYARD

said that construction workers passing by the graveyard found the body and called the police.

The police failed to find any ID cards or documents to reveal the man's identity or evidence about the suicide motive. The police immediately called the forensic pathologist team, the report of which showed that the death was caused by hanging.

He said the forensic report indicated that the man had died a week before he was found by the police. Hence 80 per cent of his body was decomposed which added to the difficulty of the police in identifying him.

Brigadier Mujlad commented that the suicidal cases among Asians especially the workers and labourers has become common during the last two years. Last year the Ajman Police found more than five dead bodies of Asians who committed suicide by hanging themselves at work place or home, hotels and various area.
