US stock futures sink on fears of Trump win

New York - Investors across the planet have grown increasingly confident the former secretary of state will win the vote over firebrand tycoon Trump.

US stock markets sank in after-hours trading on Tuesday as early election results pointed to a possible shock win for Republican Donald Trump. 

Futures markers for the S&P 500, the NASDAQ and the Dow Jones Industrial Average sank around three percent as returns showed a solid showing for Trump in battleground states.
