“Belhasa Hospitality is currently focusing on the UAE’s hospitality market,” general manager Kerem Camcigil said. “There are attractive opportunities in the market segments that Belhasa Hospitality wants to be present in, and brand owners are very interested in the UAE’s potential.”

In its latest move, Belhasa Hospitality, through its partnership in 800Pizza, has launched two more branches at Downtown Dubai and DubaiMotor City.

The firm aims to continue to increase its presence in the UAE and further develop its retail businesses.

The authentic Italian restaurant’s founder and general manager, Alessandro D’Ubaldo, said that there have been intense requests from clients of its first two outlets — Dubai Marina and Al Barsha — to add more branches as customers want the convenience of having 800Pizza close to where they live. Such is the pull of the brand in Dubai, D’Ubaldo added.

Seeing the overwhelming response from customers, “we have quickly decided to move forward,” he said.

Camcigil said that he would like to assure their customers that Belhasa Hospitality will be opening more outlets in the UAE, especially in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, in 2012.

He added that Belhasa Hospitality is working on introducing new brands to Dubai, in line with its strategy to develop a balanced portfolio of branded food and beverage leisure retail concepts, both locally and regionally. It recently brought UK-based Ben’s Cookies to the emirate.

Belhasa Hospitality is a recognised figure in the local and regional food and beverage market, with interests ranging from family and themed restaurants to top-branded cafes.
