The Tejar Dubai entrepreneurship development programme, a Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry initiative, launched its 20th commercial project, Familia Emirati clothes store on Dubai-Oman Highway in Hatta recently.
The new commercial project which is the 4th launched by Tejar Dubai this year has come as part of the entrepreneurship development programme's efforts to support creative and commercially-minded Emirati entrepreneurs turn their business ideas into reality.
Present at the launch were Essa Al Zaabi, senior vice-president, Institutional Support Sector, and General Coordinator of Tejar Dubai, Saif Al Shafar, chairman of Tejar Dubai Youth Council, Ali Al Bidwawi, owner of Familia, as well as a number of prominent businessmen and participants of the entrepreneurship development programme.
The Familia is the eighth store attached to the Alwars and Alfosol Trading Company group which specialises in ready-to-wear and evening garments for the entire family and includes shoes, bags, linens, perfumes, accessories, toys and cribs, stationery and supplies for infants.
Commenting on the opening of the Familia store, Essa Al Zaabi stated that this is the fourth project of the year launched by Tejar Dubai which clearly shows the entrepreneurship development programme's commitment to support young Emirati talent to overcome the challenges in establishing a business while helping them to make a success of their enterprise in the competitive world of business.
Al Zaabi further stressed that the Tejar Dubai initiative provides youth with access to an extensive development programme, including training and tips from experts in the field which help them develop business ideas and to be creative and innovative in the business arena.
