The Press conference was attended by Saif Mohammed Al Midfa, Director-General of Expo Centre, Jamal Al Jassmi, General Manager of the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies, Sharjah and Ibrahim Hassan Shuhail, Head of Customer Service Department, Directorate of Human Resources Development, Government of Sharjah. “More than 100 exhibitors are taking part in the show, which is a nearly 25 per cent increase in the number of participants compared to the previous show held in 2008,” said Saif Mohammed Al Midfa.
The previous edition of the show featured nearly 80 exhibitors and attracted 10,529 visitors. “Most major local and international banks that have a presence in the country will be taking part
in the show.
The UAE being a
financial hub in the region, several major international financial institutions have their branches and offices in the country,” said Midfa.
Recognising the key role played by higher education and career-oriented
training in the job market, a new pavilion for higher
education will be
launched at this year’s
show.
