RenCap to Arqaam expand in MEA
Renaissance Capital, the Russian investment bank controlled by billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, is planning to open an office in Dubai to take advantage of rising demand for assets in the Arabian Gulf and Africa.
The bank, with operations in Moscow, London, New York, Turkey and three African countries, is seeking to expand in the Middle East and Africa (MEA) to “become a truly formidable frontier and emerging-market investment bank,” West Africa chief executive officer Yvonne Ike said in an interview in Lagos, Nigeria.
