Iran boosts gasoline imports around 50 pct

"They've already started buying and it's being felt in the market," one trader said. "Gasoline imports are up around 60,000 barrels per day for August and September."

Iran's gasoline imports could rise as high as 170,000 bpd, up from a monthly average of 95,000-115,000 bpd, traders said.

Gas oil imports in August and September would double to around 30,000 bpd, traders said.
