Aster Pharmacy honoured with two Dubai Business Excellence Awards

The first Aster Pharmacy was launched by Dr Azad Moopen, founder chairman and managing director of Aster DM Healthcare on July 5, 1989.


Aster Pharmacy was presented with Dubai Quality Award in the healthcare sector as a recognition of its consistent efforts to drive excellence throughout its operations ensuring sustainability pertaining to people, planet and profits.

The Department of Economic Development (DED) organised the 27th Annual Dubai Business Excellence Awards, to recognise outstanding pursuit of excellence in business practices in 2021, through a virtual event.

“Aster Pharmacy is driven by the philosophy of Healthiness is Happiness and this is reflected in all our efforts to bring this to life for our people and customers alike. It is ingrained into our operations and ensures sustainability as we strive to set the highest benchmarks in delivering quality healthcare services that are affordable and accessible. We are honoured that our efforts have been recognised by The Department of Economic Development in Dubai which strengthens our endeavour to continuously look for opportunities to live up to the Vision of the Rulers of Dubai that there is no finishing line in the journey for excellence. Maintaining good health, curing illnesses, and helping our patients shift from dis-ease to ease is what we exist for as Aster,” said Alisha Moopen- Deputy Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare.
