Ajman Bank Appoints Head of Finance Division

DUBAI — Ajman Bank, the emirate’s first Islamic commercial bank, has officially announced the appointment of their new Head of Finance Division, Seifeldin Abdelkareem. With a career in the financial field spanning twenty eight years, Abdelkareem has a multitude of experience to contribute as new Head of Finance.

Having formerly worked for the UAE Central Bank, Arab Bank and Qatar Investment Bank, Acting CEO of Ajman Bank, Ali E Alshaqoosh Al Mueen, said “It is our pleasure to welcome Seifeldin on board; he will be an invaluable part of the team. We are confident that his diverse and extensive experience within the field of finance, coupled with managerial skills will further strengthen our efforts towards the achievement of our Bank’s goals.” In assuming his position as Head of Finance, Abdelkareem will play a central role in ensuring management and regulatory reporting are undertaken in line with the General Accountancy Principles, the Bank’s accounting policies and other set guidelines.

Commenting on his appointment, Abdelkareem added, “I am really thrilled to be joining such a professional, goal driven and committed team. I look forward to a great year with Ajman Bank, and contributing to its growing position in the UAE market.”
