We were the first to report that Pakistani actress Mahira Khan was headed to Abu Dhabi to shoot the remaining portions of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Raees. Now we've been told that Shahrukh Khan will be joining her for the shoot of a song once he jets into the country tomorrow.
The trailer of the upcoming Bollywood film that features Shahrukh Khan as a bootlegger had garnered a lot of good feedback when it was recently released.

Rumour has it that the positive buzz is what has led the creators to rethink their earlier decision to junk some portions featuring SRK and Mahira Khan. Post the Uri attack a blanket ban was put on Pakistani actors shooting in India and Raees was among the three movies (Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Dear Zindagi being the others) affected by the rule.
 
With the Indian Film authorities banning Pakistani stars from shooting for Indian films in the country, most production houses have no option but to look for foreign locales to complete their shoots. And the UAE seems the perfect spot, specially considering Shahrukh Khan's promotional video for Dubai Tourism inviting all to visit the emirate, that has gone viral since it was released yesterday.

The film is slated to release on January 26, 2017.
