Gama Aviation, a business aviation service provider, has expanded its operations at Sharjah International Airport from August 1.
With the support of Sharjah Airport Authority, Gama Aviation has acquired additional aircraft parking space to meet the growing demand for business aviation at the airport, and from across the region.
As part of the agreement, Gama Aviation's fixed base operation (FBO) and maintenance, repair and operations (MRO) teams will supervise business aircraft left in their care.
In a review of the Sharjah FBO handling rates, Gama Aviation has reduced basic handling prices by 20 per cent. This ensures that the Sharjah FBO is competitive when compared to similar offerings in the region, notably Dubai World Central. The new prices have taken effect from August 1.
Martin Ringrose, Gama Aviation's managing director for the Middle East, said: "The Gama Aviation FBO at Sharjah provides an offering distinct to other FBOs in the region."
Sharjah offers convenience for business travellers in terms of slot availability and through quicker onward ground transportation to many locations in the UAE - most notably Downtown Dubai."
