The 40-year-old woman tried to bribe the RTA woman examiner in March this year if she helped the Vietnamese woman pass the driving test.

The Emirati examiner said during interrogation that she was on duty on March 27 arranging the papers of the driving test applicants. The Vietnamese woman came and asked her to examine her. "I accepted and asked her for the test fee and she gave it to me," the examiner said.

The woman returned after a while and dropped some papers including a rolled paper which, the examiner later found, contained US$300.

The examiner immediately informed her supervisor about the bribery offer and the matter was referred to the police.
