WATCH: Expats celebrate Pakistan Defense Day in UAE

Abu Dhabi - In his speech, defense advisor said on this day fifty years ago, Pakistani nation successfully defended its sovereignty and territorial integrity when a much bigger adversary crossed its borders.

Pakistan's 51st Defense Day was celebrated with patriotic zeal. On this occasion, a reception was hosted by the defense advisor at Pakistan embassy air commodore Mohammed Akhtar, which was largely attended by diplomats, military attaches and community members.

In his speech, Ambassador-designate Moazzam Ahmed Khan said the UAE-Pakistan are tied up in multi-dimensional bilateral relations whose foundations were laid by UAEs founding father Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. The reception was attended by the officers of Pakistan Naval Ship "PNS ASLAT" which is on a good will mission to the country these days.
