UAE to take part in AU meeting in Equatorial Guinea
MALABO - The United Arab Emirates will take part for the first time as an observer in African Union Summit (AU), which will be held in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea from June 26- July1.
The UAE delegation will be headed by UAE Ambassador to Ethiopia Dr Yusuf Hassan Al Saberi.
Themed: “Empowerment of Youth for Sustainable Development”, the Summit will discuss main challenges that face the youth sector in Africa, and ways to boost their role to achieve the economic development.
It will also tackle the African crises, especially in Libya, Sudan and Somalia, besides other economic, social and cultural issues.
