UAE flights to Frankfurt affected by workers’ strike

Flights from UAE to Frankfurt were affected on March 27 following a strike by public sector workers across Germany's main airports.

An Emirates Airlines spokesperson said, "Due to a public sector strike across Germany on Thursday, March 27, Emirates may experience minor delays on two of its flights out of Frankfurt (EK044 and EK046). Passengers are advised to check their flight status on www.emirates.com. We apologise in advance for any inconvenience caused."

Flights operated by Etihad Airways were also affected by the strike.
