The Operations Room of the Sharjah Police received a tip-off regarding one of the suspects, S.A., being involved in gambling using a screwdriver and a belt in a public place. During interrogation, he confessed to the crime and said he was targeting labourers to earn some quick cash.

A unit of Anjad police patrol found the second suspect, M.J, playing the game in a gathering near a busy street. “M.J. resisted arrest and tried to escape, but he was eventually arrested. Gambling tools were also seized from the suspect,” a police source said.
