Sewa is working towards launching a customer service centre called Tawseel (installation) by which all the formalities for all kind of services provided by Sewa will be facilitate and completed.

“The customers had to go through long procedures and process in various sections to apply for such services. But now, they will be able to complete all formalities in one place using one application form and in a short time,” said Omar Lahwaidi, head of the Common Customer Services Section at Sewa.

He said that customer service centres would be opened in various parts of the emirate for the convenience of the residents so that they do not have to travel all the way to Sewa’s main premises in Liyah.

The new centre project will be implemented in three phases as a preliminary step towards e-government in the emirate. The new centre will help save time, effort and money of customers seeking Sewa’s services.

The Tawseel centre will also serve as a connecting point between customers and various technical sections of Sewa.

Tawseel will provide temporary and permanent gas installation, power and water services. It will also facilitate the transfer and removal of meters of gas, power and water and follow the process with the technical sections concerned. Permissions and no-objection certificates of all types will also be issued by this centre.
