Jameela Al Muhairi, Chief of Dubai School Inspection Bureau (DSIB), said: “We are excited about sharing the results of the second year of inspections with our Indian and Pakistani principals, teachers, and parents.”
In its second year for schools following the CBSE, ICSE and FBSIE curriculum, the KHDA inspections provide parents and schools with an extensive review of the school infrastructure and teaching standards, as part of efforts to improve school education in Dubai.
“This is our second year so we can measure any improvements that have been made since last year, said Al Muhairi.”A total of 21 Indian schools were inspected by KHDA along with three Pakistani schools during the academic year 2010-2011.
Last year, none of the schools following the Indian curriculum received an outstanding status as seven Indian schools were rated good, along with 10 others were deemed acceptable. Three schools were considered unsatisfactory during the last assessment.
