Penalties if building waste not removed
FUJAIRAH — Construction companies that fail to remove the building wastes from road sides will face stringent penalties, including hefty fines, Mohammed Al Afkham, Director of the Fujairah Municipality, warned on Monday.
The warning comes when the municipality and the Ministry of Public Works office in the emirate are carrying out maintenance work and tiling of main road pavements.
The companies should keep the their surroundings clean, especially in front of the work sites, Al Afkham said. If waste not cleared, the municipality would do so at the expense of the owner of the establishment that created the mess.
