Most fun rides in Ajman are unsafe

AJMAN — A majority of the amusement rides in parks and entertainment centres in Ajman continue to lack lap bars, safety belts and other accident prevention mechanisms despite several incidents of injuries suffered by children since last year.

With children insisting on the fun rides, especially during the Eid holidays, parents are in for a nerve-wracking time having to constantly keep an eye on them. According to an official at the emergency room at Khalifa Hospital, a five-year-old boy was seriously injured recently when he was jumping on the trampoline.
