His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, received former Prime Minister of the United Kingdom David Cameron, who is participating at the Arab Strategy Forum.
Shaikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Crown Prince, was also present.
Shaikh Mohammed and his guest touched on the friendly and historical ties between the UAE and UK. They also discussed the regional status quo and ways to enhance security through international cooperation as well as activating the role of the United Nations in this regards.
Present at the meeting were Minister of Cabinet Affairs and Future, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi; Deputy Chairman of Police and General-Security in Dubai, Lt-Gen Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Director of Protocol and Hospitality Khalifa Saeed Suleiman and senior officials.
Shaikh Mohammed also attended a session called 'State of the world politics in 2017' that was addressed by Cameron and former CIA chief Leon Panetta.
