Team owner Mukesh Kochhar hails 'outstanding’ ladies as he pays tribute to his tried and tested squad of players
Investigations revealed that the man had been killed and buried by a 38-year-old Arab compatriot, who was arrested.
Police said the family of the victim had lodged a report with Al Gharb Police Station on May 1 about the man’s disappearance. During the course of investigations the police discovered that the victim had some problems with an Arab family. The police got a useful lead when the family of the deceased reported having received an SMS from a member of the ‘suspect family’ informing them that their son had left the country and would not return. The police suspected that the SMS had been sent to mislead the family.
Further investigations led the police to the man who had sent the SMS and he was arrested. During interrogation, he admitted that he had stabbed the man to death and buried his body somewhere in Dubai. On information provided by him, the police located the spot and exhumed the body that was identified by the deceased’s family. The case has been referred to Dubai Police.
