The Photography Exhibition is a major attraction in the shopping malls during the ongoing 10th edition of DSS and will be held between August 12 and 19 at Deira City Centre from 10am to 10pm.
The event is a unique opportunity for photography enthusiasts to display their works and enroll in competitions.
While professional photographers can participate in two categories, the exhibition and the competition, amateurs can only participate in the competition.
DSS Events, Operations and Services Director Yousif Mubarak said, “The Photography Exhibition is a unique avenue for professional and talented photographers to exhibit their talents.
“The theme of the competition, ‘Miles of Smiles’, reflects the DSS marketing campaign of the same name where our aim is to promote Dubai as a fun, exciting, and one among the most complete summer destinations in the world today.”
A gala dinner is being organised on August 19 for participants and other photographers where the winners will be awarded, in addition to celebrating the International World Photographers Day. All participants are required to attend the opening and the awarding ceremony.
