“These six flights a week with reasonable rates from Dubai to Jordan will benefit the expats and the holiday travellers,” said Ali Braizat, Regional Manager, Gulf and KSA, Jordan Aviation in an exclusive to Khaleej Times.

The airline is offering only economy class seats and has plans of expansion and holiday schedules which include travels to Bethlehem, Baghdad and Damascus. Oman will also be added as a destination by next year.

“The schedule will benefit many of our customers in Dubai Sharjah area. With these special fares, people can afford to travel more,” said Hossein Tehrani, General Manager, Al Rais Travel which represents Jordan Aviation in the UAE.

The addition of these flights is also a boost to the already thriving Terminal 2. “There are more than 30 airlines that operate from terminal 2,” said Ahmed Langawi, Vice President, Terminal 2 Operations, Dnata.
