Of the total 21 Indian schools, 11 were rated ‘good’, seven were found acceptable and three were rated unsatisfactory.

The extensive annual report provides an overview of the standard of education in the Indian and Pakistani schools.

Two of the three Pakistani schools inspected by the KHDA were found to be unsatisfactory, while one school, was acceptable.

“There is still much to be done and the progress needs to continue in these schools. Schools have to meet the expectations of the parents and students,” said Jameela Al Muhairiri, Chief, Dubai School Inspection Bureau at the launch of the report.

The Indian and Pakistani schools were inspected earlier than other curricula schools because they have a different academic year, which begins in April. The other school results will be announced in May.

“The stories of the Indian and Pakistani schools are very different. We would like to see the community working together to make education better. We hope the school principals will form partnerships, sharing their strengths and learning from their weaknesses,” added Al Muhairiri.
