Iftar at Bin Suqat Masjid

DUBAI — Dubai Customs is organising mass Iftar on a daily basis at Bin Suqat Masjid in Al Qusais Industrial Area-2.

As part of ‘Iftar Initiative’, Dubai Customs has increased daily Iftar meals from 60 last year to 250 this Ramadan. Firyal Tawakul, CEO for Social Affairs Sector, said the mass Iftar, based on staff donations, comes in line with Prophet Mohammed’s

(Peace be upon him) call to feed fasting Muslims.

“The Prophet (PBUH) was quoted as saying: “Whoever feeds a fasting person shall be granted a similar reward to his.” — ahmedshaaban@khaleejtimes.com
