Taurus (Apr 20 - May 20)

They need to be reminded of their lowly place in the scheme of things. In a battle for territory, you’re still head of the pride and will be able to demonstrate your prowess convincingly. In a decisive chase to the kill, you’ll corner your quarry and run off with the prize.

Virgo (Aug 23 - Sept 22)

Next week’s transit of the Sun into Aries marks a new beginning and a time to turn over a new leaf. Ever the analyst and sceptic, you need to lighten up. Although you’re used to listening to your head over your heart, an event occurring in the next few days will convince you that it’s worth listening to your inner voice. Ignore facts and figures — you know about how books can be cooked. If you instinctively warm to something new, ignore negative reports that would have influenced you previously.

Libra (Sept 23 - Oct 22)

This week’s cosmic portents emphasise the importance of fidelity and adherence to strict values. You must remain true to what you believe in, but also consider the people you’d disappoint if you wavered. Scorpio (Oct 23 - Nov 21)

Your ruler is the mythological god of war whose relationship with the other gods was complicated and sometimes violent. Sagittarius (Nov 22 - Dec 21)

If something has to be done, the Archer is not one to shrink away from getting stuck in. Fair-minded Jupiter’s link with idealistic Neptune will make you extra keen to see justice done, but you can’t simply leap into the fray. You need to acquire insider knowledge or leverage beforehand.
