Free tickets for special needs guests at Abu Dhabi festival

ABU DHABI - The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) and Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority (ADTA) have donated 1,200 tickets to the Al Ain-based Private Centre for Care and Rehabilitation for the inaugural 'Summer in Abu Dhabi' family festival, a unique eight-week entertainment and educational event set to redefine the UAE's summer season.

The special guests will have unlimited access to the festival's various edutainment offerings. The festival will kick off on June 26 and will last till August 18.

"Summer in Abu Dhabi is for everybody, regardless of their background. It has been carefully designed to offer activities that are fun and productive, but are also stimulating to all. The show is suitable for all nationalities," said Faisal Al Shaikh, head of Events Section, ADTA.

The Centre, a non-government organisation inaugurated in January 1999, looks after mentally-disadvantaged local children in the UAE. It has now been extending assistance to other Gulf countries through the support of highly-experienced specialists.
