The UAE celebrates Eid Al Fitr today as it marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan with hugs, a few days off work, and time spent with friends and family.
Across the UAE, events are being held to bring people - Emiratis, expats and tourists - together to celebrate the holidays.
Malls, for example, are expecting a huge influx of visitors to take advantage of shopping deals and entertainment options, such as The Dubai Mall performances of the 'Musical Maestros', or Bugs Bunny at Dragon Mart.
In Abu Dhabi, a wide range of traditional activities are taking place for the holiday, including traditional dances on Yas Island and heritage workshops at Al Ain Palace.
Additionally, hotels and resorts have seen an increase in reservation, as tourists from abroad come to enjoy all that the UAE has to offer during the Eid holiday.
No matter what people do during Eid, one can be rest assured that the faces of the UAE are smiling.
