Fashion Forward season 7: A survival kit

It's going to be three days of packed shows, talks, presentations and networking. So we need to be equipped.

Fashion Forward season 7 starts today and 39 regional accessory and clothing designers will participate in the region's most credible fashion event.

As we get ready to see what Fall/Winter 2016 has in store for us fashion-wise, it's going to be three days of packed shows, talks, presentations and networking.

So we need to be equipped. It's a long day that ends towards 11pm. So here is my FFWD survival kit -- a light but functional but chic bag.

Nothing works better than the Bao Bao Issey Miyake bag for this filled with my note book --  Nappa Dori, taking a piece of " Made in India" style to this showcase of homegrown talent from this region.

All my identification cards to ensure I get my pass on arrival, keeping them safe in my Amanda Navai cardholder. So that's some homegrown talent.

The other vitals are the battery charger -- need to be ever ready to upload pics to social media. Lipstick, mints and hand sanitiser to keep me fresh till the opening party tonight (What's a fashion event without a party?) And, of course, my Fashion Forward press pack. Let the fashion frenzy begin!
