Egyptian national Eman Abdul Atti, once known as the 'world's heaviest woman' passed away on Monday, September 25, at 4:35am due to complications from the underlying comorbid conditions, including heart disease and kidney dysfunction, according to medical experts at Burjeel Hospital.

October 24, 2016:
At 500kg, Eman Abdul Atti is declared world's heaviest woman.
February 11, 2017:
Eman - weighing 504kg - arrives at Saifee Hospital in Mumbai. She is lifted by a crane from the aircraft and brought to the hospital in an open-to-sky truck.
February 16, 2017:
She thanks doctors and the governments of India and Egypt for their help in a video message.
February 22, 2017:
A Bollywood superstar's mum donates Dh55,000 for the overweight Egyptian woman.
March 7, 2017:
Eman sheds over 100kg. She now weighs 404kg.
March 9, 2017:
She undergoes bariatric surgery in Mumbai. 75 per cent of her stomach is reduced by the surgery. She is put on a special diet. Watch video here

Doctors claim her weight had dropped further to 358kg.
April 24, 2017:
Her sister Shaimaa Salim calls surgeon Dr Muffazal Lakdawala and the hospital 'liars'. Claims Eman was under "heavy medication".

Doctors share video to prove she is healthy, dismiss claims her health is deteriorating.
April 30, 2017:
Eman's family decides to shift her to the UAE for treatment.
May 4, 2017:
