Residents wishing to sponsor their relatives and friends can now submit visa applications anytime of the day till 8 PM. Lt Colonel Salah bin Saloum, Assistant Director for Entry Permits at DNRD, said the decision would facilitate residents to apply for visit visas for their relatives without taking leave from work. He also urged people applying for visit visas to buy the e-Dirham card from banks during the morning working hours - between 7.30 AM and 2 PM since the bank located in the DNRD premises closes in the afternoon.
