This was recommended by Islamic scholars and researchers with the conclusion of the Holy Quran conference that took place at Sharjah University under the patronage of His Highness Dr Shaikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Sharjah, and in collaboration with the Holy Quran and Sunnah Association and Sharjah Electricity and Water Authority (SEWA).

Praising the efforts of Dr Shaikh Sultan for the conference, participants called upon Muslims to combine efforts with private firms and government authorities to establish special centres for teaching and memorising Holy Quran.

They focused on the importance of introducing Holy Quran and Islamic education subjects into the educational curricula starting from elementary grades, and urged government authorities to work in collaboration with Muslim leaders for establishing an Islamic satellite channel.

Participants also called on printing Holy Quran in braille to assist blind people, they asked for establishing an international scientific authority to translate Islamic teachings to other languages in collaboration with experts and specialists.
