Bollywood singer Bhoomi Trivedi rocks Dubais Dandiya Fest

Indian expats in Dubai tapped their feet to the tunes of folk and Bollywood fusion on Friday, September 2 at Zabeel Park till late night. This year, the face of 'The Great Indian Dandiya Fest 2016, Ram Leela fame singer Bhoomi Trivedi rocked the show with her breathtaking performances. The event started around 10 pm and went on till midnight. Around 3000 people gathered to savor a fun-filled night full of cultural and traditional Indian flavor. 
One of the grandest Navratri events was celebrated with the performances on colourful folk numbers from two states of India, Gujarat and Maharashtra and a few famous bollywood tracks. 
"This is the second time I am performing in Dubai, this place is amazing, lot of Indians live here and the best part is the way different cultures come together here, is just fantastic" said Bhoomi Trivedi.

She added "crowd is good here, they enjoying the show and it feels good to get connected with the Indian community here."
Last year, the event was organised for three days but this year keeping the dates and other commitments in mind, the show organisers have arranged it for a day only. 
Nandu Bhai, one of the show organisers said, "Last year the show was a huge success, around 6000 people gathered to celebrate the dandiya fest then, we thought to keep it short and simple this time. Also, the way it has been accepted we are planning to launch the show in Sweden and Africa next year". 
It gave a wonderful opportunity to all the Indians living in Dubai to connect with each other. 
Neha rao, a Dubai resident thinks cultural feast like this are very important to keep our traditions and values alive. She said "for it's a party time and I am here with all my friends, very excited, will dance and of course will enjoy the good food here as well". 
Another Dubai resident, Pallavi Panchal came with her daughter, she said "I have attended the last year's celebration as well, I enjoy being with my Indian friends here".
