Beauty Parlours, Men’s Salons Under Check
ABU DHABI — The Abu Dhabi Municipality has embarked on a three-week inspection campaign on men’s hair-cutting and ladies’ beauty salons across the city, having already covered 120 such establishments, the civic body announced on Sunday.
During the inspections, establishments breaching the cleaning code were served warnings. All materials, products and machines used to treat clients were checked thoroughly.
In collaboration with the Preventive Medicine Administration (Ministry of Health), the Municipality is exploring the option of making employees of saloons undergo regular health examinations every six months.
