The Swiss State Bank of Geneva (Banque Cantonale de Geneve - "BCGE") was founded in 1816 in the city centre of Geneva as a result of the merger between Caisse d'Epargne (Savings Bank) and the Banque hypothécaire (Mortgage Bank). It has a presence in Geneva, Zurich and Lausanne, abroad via the Banque Cantonale de Genève (France) SA entity, as well as its representative offices in Hong Kong and Dubai.
BCGE, as a universal service financial institution, provides diversified and high-quality banking services to private and institutional customers, such as everyday banking facilities, private banking and asset management, real estate financing and mortgages, global trade and commodity finance services, lending to the private and public sectors, financial engineering and corporate finance.
