Prior to the meeting, the committee paid tributes to the martyrs who lost their lives in Yemen.
It discussed proposed strategies, events, activities including the timetable for all events, that are planned across the emirate for this year's celebration.
The "Spirit of the Union" and honouring the martyrs and their families are the two main themes of the celebrations of the 44 National Day. Some of the activities that are planned include a march to celebrate Flag Day on November 3, honouring Shaikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, on November 10 and observing Martyrs Day on November 30.
The activities will take place in different areas in Ajman such as in Manama and Masfoot, in addition to the activities in the Ajman Museum and Flag Park.
Al Nuaimi also stressed the need for all departments and institutions to work together to provide world-class festivities to attract more visitors to Ajman during the National Day celebrations.
