GET LOST IN the splendour of Africa as Le Méridien village in Abu Dhabi prepares to host a special festival this weekend.

Visitors can discover the continent’s diverse culture and cuisines on March 28 from 1pm. Guests can soak up performances from live bands Dubai Drums and the South African musicians Trio del Sol and DJ Badu.

There will also be an opportunity to get your hair braided for free while children enjoy face painting and a bouncy castle. Guests can enter a raffle draw for the chance to win two return flights to Nairobi and Ethiopia. Food stalls will host an array of African dishes including Ethiopian, Moroccan and South African cuisine.
