WATCH: Kavya Madhavan and Dileep get married

The wedding took place in Kochi

Malayalam actors Kavya Madhavan and Dileep got married between 0900 and 1000IST on Friday in Kochi. The couple will reach Dubai later today. The news of the wedding was kept a secret until hours before the wedding. To keep the media at bay, the invitees were told that would be attending a movie pooja function.
The guests at the wedding included Mammootty, Jayaram, Lal, Kaviyoor Ponnama, KPAC Lalitha, Menaka Suresh, Nadirshah and Ranjit.
Before the wedding, Dileep said, in a Facebook video, that he was getting married. He also said that his daughter and her mother approved of the wedding. He sought the blessings and prayers of all Malayalis. He took the opportunity to talk about the coverage of his relationship with Madhavan in the gossip magazines. He requested that no controversies be created around his wedding.
Dileep has been linked to Madhavan for a while now. Dileep has made it clear that Madhavan is not responsible for the dissolution of his marriage to Manju Warrier. Dileep was married to Warrier from 1998 to 2014. They have a daughter Meenakshi Dileep. This is Madhavan's second marriage too. She was married briefly to Nishal Chandra. Dileep and Madhavan are worked together in several films.
