Federal Minister for Information Pervaiz Rashid has said that the opposition apparently does not want a probe into Panama Leaks.
"The opposition is well aware of the fact that the prime minister's family did not commit any unlawful act. And in case an inquiry is conducted, the stains from the mud-slinging would be washed," the information minister said while addressing a Press conference in Okara. He said the opposition wants the politics of blame game to continue by not letting the inquiry get under way.
Pervaiz Rashid said the Senate Chairman himself declined to lead the inquiry into the Panama Leaks.
He said Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has allowed the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaaf (PTI) to hold a rally for celebration of 20th anniversary in F-9 Park Islamabad on April 24 during his meeting with Imran Khan on flight to London. Imran pledged the party activists would stay within the park and not violate restriction on entering the Red Zone.
Meanwhile, the core committee of the PTI met here to finalise arrangements for the meeting.
