In a world where India-Pakistan's political tensions seem to fuel hatred and violence, citizens of the respective countries have taken it upon themselves to tell everyone across the globe that they are open to living in peace.
Not long ago, scores of hooligans of the Shiv Sena stormed the headquarters of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) in Mumbai and forced the cancellation of a meeting between the heads of the Pakistan Cricket Board and the BCCI.
On the brighter side, Bollywood has been very receptive of Pakistani talents being showcased in India. Actress Alia Bhatt says she would love to do a biopic film where she can explore herself more as an actor and the person that comes to her mind is Pakistani singer Nazia Hasan.
Bollywood condemned the black paint attack on Sudheendra Kulkarni.
In Pakistan, Dawn.com reported that two Kashmiri activists accused India's mainstream media on Sunday of "constantly publishing and airing baseless reports" about Pakistan-occupied Kashmir to defame Pakistan.
But none of that matters, because at the end of the day, everyone wants peace.
